Sam Butler

Expertise

Sam is an experienced legal professional, specialising in employment law and organisational development. He has significant experience in a number of areas of employment law including TUPE, collective redundancy issues and Tribunal litigation.

Whilst he advises clients in a wide range of sectors Sam has extensive expertise of  advising those in the arts, cultural, education, and public sectors.

Outside law, he has led a £2.5m charity in the higher education sector, held a non-executive directorship role in NUS Services Limited, and board positions at the University of Law, University of Liverpool, and Salford City College Group.

He is also involved in various community schemes, including serving as a Social Mobility Ambassador for the Law Society, serving as a local Councillor on Bury Council, and multiple formal and informal mentoring schemes.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys travelling and watching Preston North End.
