Rachel is a Senior Associate in the Employment team.

She is an experienced advisor, litigator and investigator. She also regularly provides training sessions to clients on a variety of topics including:

  • equality and diversity;

  • managing poor performance and misconduct issues;

  • handling employee grievances;

  • reducing and managing sickness absence. 

Clients include owner-managed businesses and household name businesses in a range of sectors, including retail, manufacturing, facilities management and hospitality.

Recent examples of how Rachel has supported clients include:

  • carrying out an extensive investigation into a grievance brought by an employee who alleged wrongdoing on the part of the MD and CFO, and producing a detailed report, to include findings and commercial recommendations;

  • conducting a number of investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment, and producing detailed findings and recommendations;

  • successfully representing a client in defending claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination, and obtaining a significant costs award for the client; and

  • managing a large scale settlement agreement project which involved providing advice to 250+ employees.

Outside of work, Rachel likes to spend time with her young daughter and to take part in fitness competitions like Hyrox (to make up for her love of red wine and takeaways!)
